AAAE is the largest professional organization for airport executives in the world, representing thousands of airport management personnel at public use airports nationwide. The American Association of Airport Executives' primary goal is to assist airport executives in fulfilling their responsibilities to the airports and communities they serve.
AAPA promotes the common interests of the port community, and provides leadership on trade, transportation, environmental and other issues related to port development and operations. AAPA also works to educate the public, media, local, state and Federal legislators about the essential role ports play within the global transportation system.
The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) is the international trade association that represents the unique interests of consultant firms and related businesses that provide airport development and operations expertise. Constant development and complex challenges have become the norms in aviation today. Airport facilities, technology, markets, planning, design, security, regulations and economics are in a state of unprecedented change. ACC helps it members stay ahead in this dynamic industry by bringing the experts together.
ACC was founded in 1978 and is located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
The Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) represents local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada.
The mission of ACI-NA is to advocate policies and provide services that strengthen the ability of commercial airports to serve their passengers, customers and communities.
Founded in 1910, ASBO International is a professional association of 6,000 school business management professionals. APTA is the leading force in advancing public transportation. The BHE, a German association, represents about 600 companies in the area of preventive security, which is approximately 3 billion euro and 32000 employees.
Some of the most important tasks of the BHE are representation of the members’ interests towards other institutions (such as public authorities, insurance companies, police stations), intensive co-operation with national, international and European standardization committees and working on the crucial problems of the security industry with several technical committees and working groups.
The CPPA, founded in 1985, is an organization that to fosters communication and information sharing between parking professionals in the state of California, USA.
CPPA has established and aims to build and maintain a state-wide organization of parking professionals, to inform and support members in dealing with and solving parking problem, to provide an understanding of technologies and the interactions with transportation objectives through information sharing, and to organize and act as a unifying force in the state of California to monitor, amongst many other objectives.
The Canadian Security Association (CANASA) is the national non-profit organization, established in 1977, dedicated to promoting the interests of its members and the safety and security of all Canadians. The International Parking Institute is a trade organization that was founded in 1962 to represent the marketing, economical and political concerns of its members, made up of parking professionals found in virtually every area of corporate America.

The Latin American Security Association (ALAS) was founded in 1997 with a clear purpose in mind: educating, setting standards, and elevating the level of professionalism in the Latin American Security Market. ALAS is the furthering the education of electronic security technicians and engineers in Latin America, almost 2.800 people have been certified with this program at the end of 2004 in alarms, access control, CCTV, fire detection and security systems integration courses.
The Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) was set up by retailers for retailers to distribute empirical LP information to its members via original research, over 300 research papers, a short survey or a training day, interactive workshops, members-only website, bi-weekly emails and bi-monthly emailed reports.

ONVIF is an open industry forum for the development of a global standard for the interface of network video products. It was officially incorporated as a non-profit corporation on November 25, 2008. ONVIF is committed to the adoption of network video in the security market. The ONVIF specification will ensure interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer. The ONVIF specification defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices including automatic device discovery, video streaming and intelligence metadata.
